Here at Glass Insurance Agency, making sure our customers are fully protected is not the only thing we are passionate about. We believe in coming together and uniting the community, especially during times of need. The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically impacted our local economy making access to food harder for families. Our local food bank, Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, has been working overtime in order to distribute food and resources to at-risk community members as they struggle to get back on their feet. That is why we are excited to announce that our agency will be raising donations to ensure that Second Harvest can continue their efforts throughout the pandemic. 

Due to the recent increase in the need for food, Second Harvest donated 12 million pounds of food in June alone, which is almost 80% more than in February. They worked with generous food suppliers, dedicated volunteers, and trusted organizations to ensure that families, seniors, and veterans didn’t have to worry about where their next meal would come from. They are committed to building a hunger-free community, but they depend on the generosity of the community –and that is where we step in!
